TACOMA, May 8—The Vancouver Capilanos swept a pair from Tacoma Tigers, 14-1 and 5-3.
George Nicholas scattered eight hits, while Jim Robinson had four for the Caps. Len Tran batted in three runners with a pair of hits.
In the second game, Bob Costello got the win with some last inning help from Bob Snyder, after walking two straight batters. Snyder walked the bases loadde before getting Al Koerner on a double play to end the game.
The Caps won it in the sixth when Molly Bockman commited a costly boot of Bob McLean's easy grounder.
Ray Tran hit a two-run single for Vancouver.
