TACOMA, Wash., Apr. 24—Big Bob Cherry led his Salem teammates to twin victories over the Tacoma Tigers in Sunday's double Western International League bill at Tacoma.
Cherry smashed out a homer and a single to drive in three runs and lead the Senators to a 7 to 3 win in the first game, then scored both runs in the nightcap to ease past the Tigers 2 to 1.
